Weather Protection and Dust Protection Scaffolding

Green dust protection netting on a front access scaffold for brickwork restoration

We offer temporary coverings for roof and weather protection on our scaffold installations. This can involve heavy-duty sheeting, shrink wrap, or dust netting protecting a job site or materials from the elements.

Coverings can help keep a construction site out of public view while work occurs, either by keeping your project more private until completion, keeping materials and equipment out of sight, or helping keep trespassers off a site.

Netting can protect neighbouring houses from dust, helping eliminate frustrating and time-wasting neighbour disputes. It can also provide protection for any parts of a house not under renovation, or protect public space from dust for construction in high-traffic areas.

Tarps provide a barrier against rain, snow, and wind to increase the crew’s comfort and efficiency during inclement weather and letting work continue through late fall, winter and early spring.

Shrink wrapping provides a mostly airtight covering for a site, which can be appropriate for projects working with hazardous materials like asbestos, sandblasting, and painting, or isolating an interior construction area in a public or industrial site. It provides strong protection from the elements, but may not be appropriate for projects where workers require full ventilation or work in the summer months.
