Scaffolding Add-Ons
We can provide additional features for your scaffold:
Gin Wheels and Material Hoists
For elevated job sites, you need safe transportation of materials to upper levels. Gin wheels are a common type of hoist for lifting on scaffolds, using a ring fitting with a swivel connection. Gin wheels can support load levels up to 50 kg, transporting brick or stone, paint, buckets, tools, light equipment, tarps, and other necessary work materials to the upper levels of your scaffold structure.
We also offer electric hoists with variable load capacities available (1-500 kg and above) that provide quick and efficient transportation of your materials. For tall commercial sites, we can provide cage rentals to transport workers and materials.
Debris Chutes
Carrying discarded material back to ground level is an inefficient use of worker time and compromises worker safety if use of a ladder is required. Debris chutes are easy and cost-efficient to set up, offering a direct path to ground level for material and avoiding the risk of debris flying off in an unexpected direction. Our crew can install debris chutes as needed at all levels of a scaffold.
Signage
Whether you’re on site for a long or short time, your scaffolding can be working for you to advertise your business. Our scaffolding team can install your existing vinyl signage on your scaffold, or for long installations and high-profile job sites, we can create a custom magnetic sign to integrate into the scaffold structure.
See below for an example of what this looks like:
Mid-Project Reconfigurations
The scope of work doesn’t always stay the same throughout a project. Needs change, delays occur, clients change their minds, additional work is added on. If you need access to a new area, expansion of a scaffold, or finish with one area of construction while access to another needs to be maintained, give us a call and we’ll be happy to provide a solution to adjust a scaffold to your new needs.
