How Scaffolding Rental Works

If you’re planning out a project, one month before you require scaffolding is a good time to contact us. We can manage shorter turnarounds when needed or when scaffolding is required for emergency work.

Our quotes include the cost of scaffolding installation and dismantling and scaffold rental. Rental pricing is typically prepared around a 28-day base rental price.

Rentals can be for short timelines of 2-5 days for small projects but we understand large construction projects typically extend for many months. For small home renovation scaffold rentals, we can plan for shorter durations. Rental length can be extended as required when project timelines change — please contact us with as much lead time as possible when this happens.

What is the Scaffolding Rental Timeline?

After a site visit, our staff will prepare a scaffold design for you and a quote. 

If your scaffold requires an engineer, the engineered plans will need to be created before we can provide a full estimate of all equipment needed and installation time. Typically about 25% of projects need engineered plans.

Scaffold Installation: Toronto and Ontario

When approved, we will set an appropriate scaffolding installation date based on your project start date. Most residential scaffold installations take one or two days to install. A qualified installation technician will inspect and tag the scaffold to ensure it is safe for your workers to use.

If you require any modifications to your scaffold, or have any safety concerns, during your scaffold rental, please contact us. Any adjustments needed due to our crew’s work will be completed free of charge; fees will apply for elective modifications or issues due to a third party installation. A qualified person on your job site should check the scaffold at least once a week while rental scaffolding is in use.

If your scaffold rental dates change during your project, please contact us when you know and we can extend your rental period.

When your project is complete, let us know and we will schedule dismantling and cleanup of your scaffold. Scaffolding must be left clear of construction materials and debris before our crew dismantles it, but you are not expected to clean rental scaffold before returning it.
